Basic Bobbin Lace I
This get together contains information on all equipment and its use to work bobbin lace. It helps you to prepare to make lace followed by two samplers. In the samplers, you will learn how to begin, the stitches used, hanging bobbins to start, working through a passive pair to the footside and a simple outer edge.
This class is free, but you must be a member of GCL and either provide your own equipment or borrow from GCL.

Basic Bobbin Lace II
This two day program is a continuation of the Basic Bobbin Lace I. More emphasis will be placed on reading diagrams, starts and finishes, broken thread solutions, pivot pins, plus other pin terms, magic threads, crossings and gimp use. We will have smaller groups for these basics two day gatherings.
This class is free, but you must be a member of GCL and either provide your own equipment or borrow from GCL.
